Over the past 15 years, I've spent a great deal of time collecting music.

The majority of my record collection falls under the categories Downtempo and Acid Jazz (or it's more recent incarnation, "NuJazz"). I also collect some House Music (usually with a "jazzy" sensibility) and Drum and Bass.

The main sources for all these records are:

Groove Distribution: A Chicago distributor (as opposed to shop) that offers on-line purchasing.
Gramaphone Records: A Chicago legend and, in my opinion, the best record store in town. Period.
Juno Records: A London record store with a great mailorder dept. (overnight shipping for 5 pounds!).

I've begun putting mixes into digital format and hope to have more mixes available here for download.

For now, you can listen to a Mellow Evening mix. It's about a half-hour long. Unfortunately, this only appears to download when using Firefox.
